Caramel highligts for light-ish brown hair, fair complexion, blue-gray eyes ?

hey there

what do you think? should i get caramel highlights? do you have any pictures to show me, to see how this would look done on someone else?

and i am thinking on getting them on the lower layers of hair, i mean not right on the top layer, so they look a little hidden, but still visible, catch my drift?

Should try. Cool is that text about you "I will never make it better" - it's totally normal, because it is totally cool. I could send you pictures of my sister, but I don't have your E - mail.

i actually think its on how you do it and where because some people know how to make it look so natural and others seem to washout later

You go girl. I've lightish brown hair, fair complexion and hazel eyes. I've tried it and it looks great. Another alternative is to mix some burgandy in as well to give it depth. In this way you can try it without it being to big of a shock for you.

Another thing I've done is to go a darker brown and have an ash blond piece come from underneath - just one thick piece. It gets you noticed but you can hide it if you want to.

I'm currently going burgandy/dark brown - one colour just for a change.

I have noticed that the darker colour makes my eyes stand out more and gives me a slightly more dramatic effect.

Anyway, hope this helps and go for it.

should look good have them quite chunky though .caramel if you are brown and tanned .if you are dark blonde though(like Kate Moss) it would be better to have a brighter blonde to go with your complection .you will also need to have plenty of layers otherwise they will only show when hair is up .try virtual hair.com

When clients tell me they want caramel highlights I show them Jennifer Lopez's hair. She has the epitome of caramel highlights. If you have light brown hair how light is light? Level 1 is black Level 2-3 is a very dark brown almost black, Level 4-5 is a dark brown, level 6-7 is a lighter brown depending on the colour product used in Goldwell a level 6 is a great milk chocolate colour. To me this is the perfect base for the caramel highlights. If it is a lighter shade of brown than this then realistically it is closer to a dark blonde. this Can also look good with caramel highlights but then I suggest some lighter streaks of blonde as well. Difficult to give an accurate accessment without seeing the hair. Best bet is to find a variety of different pics of Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Alba and take them to a professional colour specialist. Don't recommend trying this look at home as it may turn to brassy. Highlights underneath would look smashing but make sure the cut you have is going to showcase it otherwise you won't get the desired effect your looking for. Hope this helps.
