Iranians seem to be the most European looking people of the middle east, I don't know why but it seems that way. I guess if you looked back at their history you could figure out why.

well in people from the middle east there is a recessive allele of blonde hair, its been found in most all of the iranians tested in the experiment in 1986 by Dr. Levee Hedlev. The gene remains recessive until a pigment has been affected by two much sunlight while in the whom and to lack of water while in the whom. As you know mist iranian and other middle eastern women are covered in vails and not used to so much sunlight during birth. Always allowing th einfant to be succestible to diseases like Alibinism and Pigment Orientation Disfigurement(POD), which could be a possibility for your friend. Just thought it would be some help. no its not weird. they are actually caucasians. btw dont stereotype. pretty sure there are lots of ranges on skin tone and hair colour.

Iran have many races like turkey,and large amount of them are Aryan,so it is normal
