What color should I dye my dark hair?

I have naturally dark brown hair (nearly black) and bleached hair on only the front section of my hair. The bleached area is really fried to my dissapointment and I was thinking of a change of color for my whole hair. I was thinking of some others but it requires bleaching again. If anyone knows some great looking colors that doesn't require me to do anything too damaging that would be great. I was thinking something that is noticeable to others and quite a change but nothing extreme like blue hair. Once again it's for my whole hair and all suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Don't bleach your hair. I think that looks tacky anyways, no offense. Try a lighter brown; like a chestnut. and get a semi permanent dye before you do it. To see if you like it, and if you do get the same color in a permanent dye.

How about a deep red color on the bleached area? With your dark brown hair it would look pretty striking. Depending on your comfort level you could try a subtle auburn color, a deep wine color, or if you want to go with something really bold, maybe try Manic Panic Vampire Red. It's a really pretty bright red and takes well to bleached hair. Also, I think it's non damaging to hair. Another option, if you want to change your entire hair color, try an all-over eggplant/purplish permanent color. Good Luck!

If I'm understanding you right, you have absolutely NO color on any of your hair except the front part, right? If so, there are a lot of options. It really depends on your style, but since you have something a little funky now, I'll tell you what I think would be cute and funky. I love the idea of a bright red just on the underneath of the hair. If you have layers it will look really good because you'll be able to see the red peeking out at the bottom. Another good one is to color the underneath black and do the top light brown and blonde highlights. If your hair is colored all over a dark brown right now with the blonde in the front, you're really limited. You CANNOT lighten color with color. If you try to, your roots will lighten but the rest will stay the color it is now. In that case, you would have to strip the base color, avoiding the area in the front and then put another color on top of that in your chosen color.
