What happened to my hair?

My hair lost its shine, that it used to have... was it because of the gel that i use to spike it up, or was it from using (blue)hair spray color on it for halloween day?

warm 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, massage the oil into your scalp and hair, cover with a plastic bag, and wrap with a damp hot towel. After 30 minutes, shampoo your hair as usual.

maybe both

i dont know ?

you probably have over used the cemicals on your hair and need to get some deep conditioner.

What happened to my hair?

Any time you use products on your hair such as gels, hairsprays, conditioners, some shampoos, hair colorings etc...this can cause a build up on your hair and cause it to dull the natural shine. When you wash your hair, you need to use a clarifying shampoo or baking soda and water to strip the hair of the build up and then wash it and condition it as you normally would to help get the natural shine back. Use good quality products.

it probably wasnt either of those. gels and hairsprays are designed to be relatively safe for your hair. if its lost its shine you should make sure its conditioned well. Keep a healthy diet with plently of vegetable and carrots, and make sure to condition your hair. for extra shiny hair you can use a cucumber and oatmeal mixture that you can make yourself at home.

It may have build up. You don't need to go out and buy a fancy shampoo, just mix 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in with 2 or 3 teaspoons of your regular shampoo, lather as normal, and let it sit for about five minutes. For extra shine, follow that shampoo with a mixture of 1 fresh egg and shampoo. Works for me!

Go to a beauty supply store, like Sally Shops. There is a cleansing shampoo that takes out any built-up **** on your hair, without hurting your hair. I can't remember the name of it, but every good brand of professional hair care companies makes one. Also, rinse your hair very well! The last rinse should always be cold water. NO cream rinse--or if you must, only sparingly on the ends of your hair.
