Can someone please give me good instructions on how to dye my hair with blue streaks please? :)?

Couldnt find any website on this oddly, maybe i used the wrong keywords i dono but anyway

my hairs around "bottom of the ear" length, its already dark, but i plan too do some streaks blue..

problem is im not sure if blue (torquoise or a light blue) would actually show correctly over my dark hair.. i think i heard im supposed to bleach it or something i forgot.. my girlfriend wants to do it too except her hairs about "head to butt" length so yea tips on that would be great!

basically i just wanna know step by step on how to do this and with what, for instance if you know a good website too order off some great color hair dye, NOT the cheap kind that washes out after one shampoo session! Tips on how to get the best results and the like would be great!

I used to dye my friends hair "fashion" colours. If your gonna do it yourself you'll need to decide where you want the streaks separate the hair and apply bleach first, then wash it and then apply a semi permanent dye. I wouldn't recommend it unless you are willing to repeat the semi-permanent dye weekly as fashion colours fade really quickly and if you want blue it'll fade to green.

Personally I'd recommend getting hair extensions its the best way you can get clip in ones that wont show if your hair is thick and can be removed before you wash, or if your a bit braver the glue in ones these will last about a month if you take care of them but wont fade.

I'd definitely recommend your girlfriend uses the extensions she really doesn't want to ruin her hair because once you've bleached it has to be grown out
