i wanna do it myself but my hair is black and i only want the front part of it so what product can i buy wand where if i live in plantation florida and do i have to bleach it how do you do it please help me my mom wont pay for it and im saving money for something else so what can i do where or what can i buy to dye my hair blue or maybe green or red well thanks

If you want to dye your hair blue, first you have to bleach your hair blond ( not with actual bleach, but a powder thats made for your hair). your hair needs to be pretty light for the color to show and turn out nice. Make sure when u bleach it, it doesnt turn orange, get it as blond as you want.

for the bleach you need the powder and peroxide to mix it with. its easy just go to a salon and ask them how to mix it, and get a high level of peroxide because your hair is dark otherwide it wont work. another thing!! be careful not to burn ur hair!

If your hair is black, you'll have to bleach it. I bleached it, and then used semi-permanent dye, so I had to touch it up every few weeks to keep it bright. With black hair, bleaching it first will have any color stand out when you bleach it, otherwise, you won't really see it. I would have a pro bleach it though, you could really mess up your hair. and then when you touch it up, you can do it at home, I just applied the blue dye all over (it doesn't show up on the non-bleached parts, just made it darker black.)
