How come less than 1% of China has light hair and blue/green eyes?

I don't understand why in a very rare case a typical Chinese couple of black hair black eyes will have a blue eyed child, or green, or hazel. How does that happen, when very few people in China have these colors and black eyes are dominant?Is there a documented percentage on China that has blue or green eyes?

I myself have never actually seen any Chinese persons with these eye colors, the only thing I can think of are perhaps the people that live near the Russian border. There are many mixed marriages in these areas, therefore making the possibility of offspring with these eye colors.

But, non-mixed marriages, I wouldnt know. I'm not a doctor or gene specialist to answer whether it is possible to have parents with balck hair and black eyes with children with light hair and blue, green, or hazel eyes. I wouldn't think that its completely impossible, very rare maybe?

I sort of doubt if there are any documentated studies on this subject, since China is such a large country, and most of its people live in the rural areas, where there are not that many modern facilities for this kind of study. Plus the fact that I don't really think if this is of such importance to them.

That's all about genes.I've been studying it in school,it's a special process,and you never can be sure 100% what color your kids eyes are gonna be.

The people of China are mongoloid. That is not where you get light hair and blue/green eyes. Caucasoid people have that, which is what you find in Europe and North America mostly.

I think they are beautiful the way they are. Why do you care so much about hair or eye color?? That's what make chinese people special. The only blue eye and blond hair color chinese people I've seen are in an adoption site and they are like that because thay are mixed with people whit those characteristics.
