Are there any swiss people with light skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes?

Every swiss person I've ever seen has had dark skin, dark eyes, and black hair. I'm beginning to believe that the only light-skinned, blonde-haired, blue eyed europeans are all british, irish, or scottish. In other words, from english-speaking countries. What do you say?

i live in switzerland and have many swiss friends who are fair and blue eyed..there is a good mix, i think.. but not a lot of natural redheads that i have seen.... i am german/english, and dark haired/brown eyed.

I worked in Hawaii for a year in an international travel hostel where youngish european backpacker travellers stayed. I met a LOT of Swiss. In particular I remember the twins Tina and Mina....but that's another story. Yes, quite a few were blonde, blue-eyed.

I say there are not many English speakers in the Scandinavian countries and most of them have light skin, blond hair and blue eyes. Yes there are fair colored Swiss also. And Germans and Austrians. Remember that whole WWII thing where Hitler tried to kill off anyone who didn't have blond hair and blue eyes. Most dark Europeans are going to come from southern Europe on the Mediterranean and Aegean Seas.

EDIT: riku, read a little closer and you'll see I never said Switzerland is a Scandinavian country. I simply responded to the notion that all fair complected blond and blue Europeans were from English speaking countries. Now, go back up and read it again, and next time before you start "thumbs downing" people have a legitimate reason.

Well, firstly I am Swiss. My father is Swiss, his father/mother and father/mother before them lived in Switzerland all their lives. He (my father) has fair skin but black hair, brown eyes.

I'm not 100% Swiss (my mom is English) but my skin is very fair and I have green eyes, dark brown hair. I live in Switzerland and I can tell you the reason for the lack of blonde/blue eyed people you ask of...

Switzerland is a mixed country. It (like Belgium for example) is made up of people from Italy, Germany and France. There is a large Italian/French influence in the country and their typical features include dark hair and darker than normal European skin tone.
