Used clor corrector to take the color out of my hair and where it was bleached it turned blue/green?

im supposed to bleach it next and then put co,lor over it and they said i could do the bleahc and stuff after (im putting manic panic over the blonde) and my hair where it was bleached about a year ago turned blue /green why??

The reason it happened is because when you had colored the brown over the old bleach those areas "grabbed the base". Meaning there was probably a cool (blue, green, or violet) base color in the brown. The base color is the primary and secondary colors that contribute to the color you see (brown). When you bleach it makes your hair porous, puts little holes in the hair, and the base of the new color fills the holes. Then when you bleached again all you were left with was the base color that filled the old holes. If you used a warm (red, orange) manic panic when it fades you should have a more neutral color, but if you used a cool manic panic you'll still see the blue green when it fades.



The only other explanation is if you are taking any medication or drugs that could've messed with the results of the bleach. If this is the case, next time do a clarifying pre treatment to remove any medications from the hair.
